Morum Vellam / Sambaram / Pacha Moru

Ingredients

Curd ~ 1 cup
Water ~ 1 cup
Chopped  Ginger ~ 1 tbsp
Green chillies ~ 2-3 ( Split lengthwise )
Curry leaves ~ 4-5 leaves
Salt

Method
  • Beat curd and 1 cup water in a blender. Just 2-3 pulses will be enough.
  • Then crush ginger and green chillies using a mortar and pestle.( Note: You can change the number of green chillies according to your spice tolerance level.)
  • Add crushed ginger and green chillies along with curry leaves and enough salt to the curd and mix it well. Pacha Moru or Sambaram or Morum Vellam is ready to serve.
